At Vicarage Vets, we understand that veterinary care can be expensive, and we never want cost to be a barrier to your pet’s health. That’s why we strive to keep our prices as fair and transparent as possible while maintaining the highest standard of care for every pet we see.

  • Consultations

    • Initial vet consultation (dog/cat): £50
    • Follow up vet consults: £22-£40
    • Rabbit consult: £40
    • Small pet consult: £30
    • Nurse clinic: £25
    • Vet check for prescription flea/ worm treatment: £15 + £5 per additional pet
    • Clipping nails or expressing anal glands at vaccination/ other appointment: £12
    • Microchip £23 (or £14 if done on the same day as neutering/ vaccination)

  • Vaccinations

    Dog Vaccines:

    • Full puppy course: £85
    • Full Booster (DHP & lepto): £60
    • Lepto only booster: £58
    • Kennel cough: £55 on its own (or £28 if at same time as other vaccines)

    Cat Vaccines:

    • RCP & FeLV primary course: £85
    • RCP only primary course (indoor cats): £72
    • Full booster (RCP & FeLV): £60
    • RC/ RCP booster: £58

    Rabbit Vaccines:

    • Myxo, VHD 1 & 2 vaccine: £66

    Rabies Vaccine:

    • For dog/ cat/ ferret: £68

  • Neutering

    Dogs:

    • Castrate: Upto 5kg- £175, upto 15kg- £205, upto 25kg- £220, upto 35kg- £250, upto 45kg- £280, upto 75kg - £360
    • Spay: Upto 5kg- £250, upto 15kg-£290, upto 25kg-£335, upto 35kg- £385, upto 45kg- £420, upto 75kg £495

    Cats:

    • Castrate: £95
    • Spay: £130

    Rabbits,  Ferrets &  Guinea-pigs: 

    • Castrate: £95
    • Spay: £130

    Post op checks and post op pain-relief are included in the price of the operation.

  • Blood Testing

    Pre-anaesthetic bloods: £58

    Full in house bloods: £120

    Vaccine titre testing: £45

    Brucellosis testing (iELISA and SAT): £40


    We offer a variety of different blood profiles in house & can test for further conditions externally, prices for these are available on request.

  • Ultrasound

    • Pregnancy Scan: £45
    • Point of care ultrasound: £68
    • Full abdominal or heart scan: £220*
    • Full abdominal and heart scan: £350*
    • Repeat scans: £110

     *These prices do not include sedation which may be required in some cases.
